On Fridays What Happens when it is time for Jummah prayer?
:
Every Muslim rushes down to the mosque for prayers. A trader leaves
you the customer at the counter and rushes for it. A keke napep
(Tricyclist) drives down for the prayers. There is traffic gridlock on
roads close to mosques.
:
Perhaps you might have witnessed this when you came across a Muslim
community or perhaps not. Nevertheless what does this teach you?
:
It teaches you "GOD FIRST". God must be at the forefront of your life.
He must be the beginning and the end. Start your day with God. End
your day with God. Pray in the morning. Pray during the day, live in
the presence of God throughout the day. End your day with prayer.
:
Sundays are dedicated to God. Worship him on that day, give him the
whole day. He deserves it, the first day of the week, start it with
him. Go to Church, read your Bible, spiritual books. Use that day and
learn more about God, come closer to God. Pray more.
:
"We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some
of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other
even more as we see the day of the Lord coming (Heb 10:25)."
Join your Christian community in worship. Do charitable work on that
day, visit the sick, the imprisoned. Help the poor, contribute to the
good of your community, your Church. Teach the ignorant, evangelize
the unevangelized, teach Sunday School kids.
:
